To be honest, I did not have a clue what I was doing. I new from my initial meeting that I was with the right accountancy firm. This was mainly due to the fact that they made the difficult to understand things are lot easier. I am a confident in my own world of expertise but managing finance is not on that list. The following year was pandemic times. Having a trust in an an accountant like HLB was essential and they guided me through. I would certainly recommend HLB to any business of any size. Reliable, fast, efficient, and not only they sorted my tax return very quickly and helped me figure out what I needed to do as my first year as a sole trader, but I had a problem where I had a tax rebate and it got lost in the post, and they made sure that another refund was issued by the HMRC and reached me within a few weeks since when I notified them.
